Programs for WomenTheatre - "Bernadette's Bravo!" - Powerstories Theatre - Bernadette's Bravo is one of three and the newest Powerstories production written by Fran Powers. Music is by Janet Scaglione. It is the story of seven women working together on their biggest project ever! In years past they have always worked to help local organizations, but this year they decide to DREAM BIG and work on a project of worldwide appeal. But, first they have to get quiet and listen to what their life is teaching them, and then articulate it in only seven words! This show is another very unique and personal presentation of the power of a woman's journey through life. The show features a unique set adaptable to many environments, and original music. The paramount purpose of "Bernadette's Bravo!" is to inspire audiences worldwide to know what their life is teaching them...and to proclaim it in seven words. Information on the first two productions "Let the Stories Move You" and "Clarity Cometh" are listed below. Workshops - "Seek and Speak Your Story" - This is our foundation and most popular workshop. This workshop helps you discover stories of your life, gain a heightened appreciation for listening to stories, write and tell one or more personal stories, and present them to a larger audience. The workshop is designed to help participants connect more deeply with others. On the last night of the class, participants tell their story to an audience. Powerstories offers this course in several locations in Florida and California. Each facilitator has received certification from Powerstories Theatre on how to teach a high quality "Seek and Speak Your Story" workshop. "Clarity Cometh" - Powerstories Theatre - Clarity Cometh is the adventure of seven women at a retreat following instructions to "find the gathering place and wait."
