Janice, Director of girls' programs, and "Seek and Speak" workshop facilitator for Powerstories studied acting, directing, voice and dance at the University of Illinois, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre. At the University of Iowa, Janice continued her studies by earning a Master of Arts in Teaching speech and theatre degree. Janice has been a teacher since 1974, and has taught numerous, exciting subjects to all age groups. She has over 40 years of acting credits, and extensive directing credits having directed scenes, one-acts, full-length plays and musicals since 1969.
Her most recent degree is an Educational Specialist from Nova Southeastern University, in Ed. Leadership. She was a principal before joining Powerstories.
