Training Certification to Facilitate
"Seek and Speak Your Story" Workshop 

To be considered for facilitator training individuals or companies must do the following: 

Demonstrate a level of proficiency and keen interest in public speaking, performing, or storytelling.

Attend "Seek and Speak Your Story" Workshop facilitated by Fran Powers, Founder of Powerstories Theatre, Inc. To meet this requirement, the ten hour workshop is regularly available in Tampa, Florida or you can attend a 2 day workshop prior to the 2 day "Train the Trainer" session, or you can hire Powerstories to teach the workshop in your community. Participants must demonstrate basic competencies before being certified.

Attend a "Train the Trainer" Workshop facilitated by Fran Powers. The two day training workshop is available in Tampa, Florida or you can hire Powerstories to teach one in your community.

Tell your Powerstory a minimum of 6 times to audiences.

Sign a Start-Up Agreement.

Powerstories will provide the following:

Two day training workshop facilitated by Fran Powers. Training will include the following:
     - how to facilitate a Seek and Speak Workshop,
     - how to market and promote the Workshops,
     - how to build revenue,
     - how to minimize expenses and
     - how to obtain an appropriate facility.

A Train the Trainer Manual and audio tapes of stories to be critiqued

15 Participation Workbooks for the first class.

Promotional templates stating features and benefits of the course.

Use of company logo.

Use of Powerstories business card template.

Contact information of other Powerstories facilitators for possible mentoring.

Phone consultations after teaching first workshop.  

Training Certification to Facilitate
"Seek and Speak Your Story" Workshop 

Agreement document to be signed will consist of the following:

Agreement to follow Powerstories philosophies of telling stories.

Checklist affirming completion of required workshop, training and required story presentations.

Agreement to always purchase Powerstories workbooks for classes.

Agreement to return all training materials to Powerstories if certification is not renewed.

Agreement to follow suggested range of workshop fees if giving workshop to the general public. This may not be a consideration for organizations giving workshops to their clients or employees.

Agreement to complete periodic evaluation reports.

Agreement to make efforts to bring a Powerstories performance into their community within 3 years.

Agreement to pay the training fee.

Training Fees and Materials:

Individual Training - $875

Non-Profit Organization - $1,375

For-Profit Organization - $1,875

Workbooks to be purchased when teaching. Includes a CD of five stories - $25.00 plus freight and handling (required)

Power Story - Anthology of stories - $14.00 (optional) Book retails at $20.00.

License renews at end of three years with following renewal fees.

Individual - $500

Non-Profit - $1,000

For Profit - $1,500

Renewal fees include advanced training and opportunity to implement Powerstories Membership Series for additional revenue.
